I wanted to suggest a fic to you. It's outside the fandoms you usually cover, but it's absolutely worth reading. The author is Green Quarter, and the best of her work is the Ever Fixed Mark series. The fandom is a short-lived show called Popular, but it's not necessary to see the show to love the story/stories. Definitely worth checking out -- http://www.realmoftheshadow.com/greenquarter.htm

Your pod-casts reviews convinced me to check out a few stories I've been ignoring. I recently read the entire "Exposure" series and I loved it. Wonderful read. I've even started reading "The Growing" even though I'm not into futuristic fics but I'm liking it so far.
It's a long read though I've made it to ch. 35 so far. The other reason I'm writing this comment is because I heard you mention a couple of times that you can't find any good Buffy fanfic. Well I might be able to recommend one to you have you ever read stories by Lisa Countryman? if not check them out: http://home.surewest.net/lcountry/willtarafic.html I think she really has a handle on all the Buffy characters
